In January 2023, the Apple Mac mini was upgraded to include the M2 chips, with an option to configure it with the M2 Pro chip. Compared to the entry level M2 model, the M2 Pro Mac mini supports up to three external displays, includes two additional Thunderbolt 4 ports, and can be equipped with up to 32GB of memory.
